Pastor Johnny Mays was ordained with the Assembly of God, April 18, 2005 at the Northern California/ Nevada District Council Meeting held at Capital Christian Center of Sacramento, California. ( Above Pastor Jim Braddy, Pastor Johnny Mays and Judy Mays)

On July 24, 2005 the congregation in Dos Palos, California elected Johnny Mays to pastor the Valley Christian Center
