As a new creation in Christ, do not make the mistake of judging the quality and status of your new identity by how you may feel from day to day in the flesh. God’s life is not subject to the feelings of the flesh or your emotions.
You may say that your body is tired, but remember you are not your body. Your body may need rest, but do not identify your TRUE status with your body. Do not say, “I am tired;” but say, “My body is tired.” Your body and emotions may experience all different kinds of feelings, but that is not where you truly live. You live in Christ!
If Satan can draw you into your emotions and get you to use your feelings as a basis for truth, you will be living in a lie. Too many of us use the wrong standard to determine how and what we are.
Because we are IN CHRIST, everything is fine! It has to be because Christ is the victor over all things! We dare not look to circumstantial evidence to prove faith’s realities.
Learn to say it this way. “My body is not me, but mine. My Spirit is not mine, but me.”
That is the truth because you are Spirit (John 3:6).
Don’t believe a lie!
